Is nation only about a Piece of land ? Is this piece of land more important and valuable than its people? Certainly not. Because otherwise, Antarctica would have been called the best nation on earth and Chengis Khan, The Killer would have been called the greatest nationalist of his conquered lands. But, it's not so.
Hence, nation and nationalism, essentially, are more about people and defending and celebrating the positive aspects of their history, culture, economy, environment and ideas, etc, than defending its geographical borders. Even if the people live in a space station or Moon or Mars, that may be called a nation in itself.
However, hate for other people will be called extremist and ULTRA NATIONALISM, which will hinder new ideas to bloom and ultimately will destroy itself like happened in the case of Japan and European nations during WW1 and WW2 in the first half of 20th century.
Therefore, in this new new globalised and bloggerised world order, let's save our beloved nation, India, from Ultra nationalism.
